  • This is definitely my favorite Paris restaurant. We love all the food we ordered. Rich flavors that bust in our mouths. Our host is incredibly courteous and attentive, despite us unable to speak French with him. All staff are very friendly to my toddler.

  • The best authentic restaurant I’ve been to in Paris- you must come here!!! The staff are passionate about their restaurant and it shows, the food and ambience are amazing too. The food… DELICIOUS! The duck confit was truly magnificent, it did indeed fall off the bone, an experience like never before. The escargot and french onion soup was authentic and luxurious and the lamp chop was soft and fell off the bone. They paired us with some red wine and lots of bread. Would 100% recommend coming here rather than a famous spot down the road.

  • We enjoyed a superb lunch at Bistrot des Vosges during our recent visit to the area while shopping at the Marche Bastille. My wife had the french onion soup and I had the choux farci (stuffed cabbage rolls). Both meals were excellent as was the included baguette. We opted to finish with the very tasty Grand Marnier soufflé for dessert. The wait staff were truly professional and we enjoyed the decor of the restaurant. We recommend this restaurant and we will return on our next visit to Paris.

  • Walked in here randomly because it has 1.5K reviews and it was great! Our waiter was very friendly which was sweet. We ordered the escargot, two French onion soups with a salad and fries, and Jess got a burger. It was our first time trying escargot and we really liked it (well Leah probably won’t be trying it again any time soon). The sauce was yummy! - reminded us of a chimichurri. Not the best French onion soup I’ve ever (sorry) had but it wassss our first French onion soup in France so that was a win <3

  • The best restaurant experience I have had in France. The food is surprisingly good. I've ordered the snails, onion soup, the sausage with mashed potato. You can't believe how stringy the mashed potatoes and onion soup is. The waiter is superb friendly and show you how to try the food. They take order and the check very quickly. I originally a bit hesitate when seeing comments below they are not friendly to non-French speakers. But it turns out they all wear smile and very attentive. Every time I need something there's always a guy ready to serve me. this restaurant has the best service I experienced during my 3 weeks here in Paris. You won't be disappointed with the food or service here. Absolutely will come back.

  • I can understand why other reviewers describe this place as having the best french onion soup in paris. Its delicious. The broth thick, rich and dark. Personally, I’d like more cheese but can’t fault the place for focusing on the broth.
